Mary Jodoin

I never set out to be a photographer.  I believe genetics plays a factor. I owe my interest to my father who passed away in 2012. My drive to produce images was then kicked into overdrive.

My photographs consist of the urban landscape and other environs that make up New England.; done mostly in black and white for depth and timelessness.  The apps available to the iPhone led to quick and surprising results.  The iPhone’s portability and various lenses make up my primary “camera bag.” My next step is to introduce prints on fabric using a cyanotype wash.   I’m also in the process of building a pinhole camera from everyday objects such as a coffee can.

I’m only limited by my imagination.
